Sonicfire versus Cinescore

The process in these types of automated programs for assembling samples and other musical building blocks is different than your typical loop based production tool. Rather than having to build the song structure from scratch, i.e. the intro, middle, close, verses, bridges, chorus and all that good stuff. Automated scoring programs do it for you based on parameters such as length, style, instrumentation and tempo

For a full review of Cinescore please check the December issue of Mix Magazine. We'll be following that up with a separate review of Sonicfire. Our first impression is both of these programs offer something for both musician and non-musician types in terms of making scoring for video fast, easy and affordable.
